Over the past few years, the educational environment has become increasingly challenging for students of all ages due to the impact of COVID-19. At the same time, a shortage of qualified teachers and education professionals has made it difficult to meet every student’s needs. Central CT Tutoring is dedicated to helping bridge this gap by providing support to students who may have fallen behind. Additionally, with the growing Spanish-speaking population in the United States, Central CT Tutoring is committed to empowering learners of all ages to acquire Spanish as a second language, enhancing their personal growth and professional communication skills.

What is Our History?

Central CT Tutoring was founded by Kristen in 2022, inspired by firsthand experience with the transformative impact of individualized, one-on-one support for students. With over 20 years of expertise, Kristen has worked with learners ranging in age from Kindergarten through adulthood (up to 75 years old) across a variety of educational settings—including general education classrooms, Resource Rooms, Inclusion environments, and Small Group instruction.

Kristen brings a deep understanding of second language acquisition and the unique needs of bilingual learners. She excels at identifying each student’s strengths and challenges, setting meaningful goals, and creating actionable plans to help them succeed. Additionally, Kristen is highly skilled in supporting executive functioning development and is experienced in providing effective strategies for students with ADHD and anxiety, empowering them to thrive academically and personally.
